Graduate English Teacher – Derbyshire
Daily Pay: £162
Start Date: September 2025 / Immediate Starts Available

Are you a recent English graduate with a love for literature, language, and inspiring young people? If you’re considering a career in teaching or looking to gain valuable classroom experience before starting a PGCE or teacher training course, this could be the perfect role for you.

Teaching Personnel is working with supportive secondary schools across Derbyshire that are seeking enthusiastic and driven Graduate English Teachers to assist in their English departments and build their experience in a school environment.

What’s on Offer:
Daily rate of £162, paid weekly
Full-time and part-time roles available
Hands-on classroom experience supporting KS3 and KS4 students
Excellent preparation for PGCE or school-based teacher training
CPD and development opportunities tailored to graduates

We’re Looking For Candidates Who:
✅ Hold a degree in English Literature, English Language, or a related subject
✅ Are passionate about education and considering a teaching career
✅ Have strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
✅ Hold (or are willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS on the update service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
