Teaching Personnel is seeking a motivated and skilled German Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive partner secondary school in Cardiff from September 2025. The school provides high-quality learning and wellbeing support for around 1000 pupils from a variety of suburbs of the city, creating a melting pot of culture that only enhances the teaching experience for the better as the school prides itself on strong behaviour management. This is a fantastic opportunity for a linguist passionate about education and student development. Our partner school is a sought-after mainstream secondary in the heart of Cardiff. With staff parking onsite and easy access via various public transport routes the school is accessible by all. 

✅ Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality German lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS3–KS4)

• Foster a supportive and engaging classroom environment that encourages language learning

• Prepare students for GCSE examinations in German

• Track and support student progress, ensuring differentiated learning where necessary

• Contribute to departmental planning and extra-curricular language activities

Candidate Requirements:

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential

• Specialism in German or Modern Foreign Languages (MFL)

• Proven classroom teaching experience in a UK secondary school

• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for modern languages

• Current Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply
