Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a highly qualified and passionate German and French Teacher on behalf of a prestigious independent school in Fareham. This exciting opportunity offers a part-time (0.3), permanent position starting in September 2023.

Responsibilities: As a German and French Teacher, you will play a vital role in nurturing students' language proficiency and fostering their appreciation for German and French cultures. Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering dynamic and interactive lessons in German and French, tailored to students of different ages and abilities.
  • Creating a stimulating learning environment that encourages active participation and facilitates the development of language skills.
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress through regular evaluations, providing constructive feedback, and implementing strategies to support individual learning needs.
  • Organizing and participating in cultural excursions, language exchanges, and other relevant extracurricular activities.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the German and French curriculum, ensuring alignment with national standards and the school's objectives.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • A recognized teaching qualification and a relevant degree in German, French, or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching German and French to students of various ages and proficiency levels.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the German and French languages, cultures, and literature.
