Job Title: Geography Teacher

Salary: £150 – £220 per day
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary

Are you a passionate Geography teacher looking to inspire the next generation of learners? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic educator to join a welcoming secondary school in York.

About the Role:

  • Full-time teaching role, delivering engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Temporary contract with potential for extension.

  • Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality lessons that spark curiosity about the world.

  • Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.

  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Geography.

  • Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and inspiring learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
