Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a successful secondary school in York to recruit a dynamic and committed Geography Teacher to join their Humanities department from September 2025.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging and inclusive Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum

• Foster a positive classroom environment that supports all learners

• Participate in departmental planning, meetings, and CPD opportunities

• Monitor and track pupil progress, providing feedback and support as needed

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification

• Have a strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography

• Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

• Be committed to raising attainment and promoting a love for learning

• Be adaptable, reliable, and eager to be part of a collaborative team
