About the role: 

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher looking for your next opportunity in the Wolverhampton area? Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a passionate educator to join one of our partnered secondary schools, delivering engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The ideal candidate will have a strong subject knowledge, a creative approach to teaching, and the ability to inspire students to develop a love for Geography. You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning. 

Key Responsibilites: 

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum.

• Support students in achieving their academic potential through effective differentiation.

• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.

• Contribute to the wider school community through participation in meetings, planning, and enrichment activities.

• Maintain excellent classroom management and uphold high standards of behaviour.

Key Requirements: 

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• A genuine passion for teaching and student development.

• DBS on the update service (willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
