Geography Teacher 

Location: West Bromwhich, Secondary School 

Start date: Autumn Term 2025

Salary: MPS/UPS


About the role: 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools in West Bromwich. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who can deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop a strong understanding of the world around them.

Role Responsibilites: 

  • Deliver high-quality Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Plan, prepare and assess work to ensure strong progress and positive outcomes

  • Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners

  • Contribute to the wider school community and departmental development

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, safeguarding and classroom management

Role Requirements: 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification

  • Strong subject knowledge in Geography

  • Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • A DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
