The role will involve:

  • Delivering engaging and inspiring Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Developing students’ knowledge, skills, and love of the subject
  • Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental projects
  • Supporting students of all abilities to achieve their full potential
  • Playing an active role in the wider life of the school community

 

We’re looking for candidates who:

  • Hold QTS (or are working towards it) with a specialism in Geography
  • Have the ability to deliver creative, challenging, and inspiring lessons
  • Are committed to raising achievement and supporting every learner
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills
  • Are enthusiastic, adaptable, and keen to contribute to a thriving department

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
