Inspire the Next Generation as a Geography Teacher – Daventry and Surrounding Areas
Are you a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher ready to make a real impact this academic year?
Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Geography specialist to join our team and teach in secondary schools across Daventry and the surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who can bring Geography to life in the classroom — inspiring students to explore the world around them, think critically about global issues, and develop a lifelong curiosity about our planet.
Position: Full-time
Location: Daventry and surrounding areas
What You’ll Be Doing
-
Deliver engaging and well-structured Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Plan and prepare creative lessons that promote deep learning and critical thinking.

Assess, record, and report on student progress in line with school policies.

Support students’ academic and personal development as a Form Tutor.

Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental development, and enrichment activities such as field trips or geography clubs.

Take part in departmental meetings, CPD sessions, and whole-school initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent – or relevant experience teaching Geography.

Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for the subject.

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

A commitment to inspiring and supporting all students to achieve their best.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
