Geography Teacher Needed for Bury Secondary School
A thriving secondary school in Bury is looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join their Humanities team from September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher or ECT to take the next step in their career in a supportive and inclusive school community.
Duties Include:

Deliver creative and well-structured Geography lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.

Adapt your teaching to suit a range of learning needs and abilities.

Inspire curiosity and a love for the world around us through engaging lesson content.

Support academic progress with effective assessment and feedback.

Contribute to curriculum planning and extra-curricular activities within Humanities.
The Ideal Candidate will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are encouraged to apply.

Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Geography.

A proactive and reflective approach to teaching and learning.

Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
