Geography Teacher – Full-Time – September 2025 Start

Location: Bournemouth | Key Stages 3 & 4 | Permanent Opportunity

A vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position suited to a passionate educator who wants to inspire the next generation to explore and understand the complexities of the world around them.

The successful candidate will be joining a supportive and ambitious Humanities department with a clear vision for excellence in teaching and learning. This role offers the chance to teach KS3 and KS4 Geography, with the potential for KS5 depending on experience and interest. Candidate requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Experience teaching Geography at secondary level (KS3 and KS4 essential)

• Strong classroom management skills and a student-centred approach

• A desire to contribute to extracurricular activities and wider school life

• ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
