Geography Teacher – Full-Time – September 2025 Start

Location: Bournemouth | Key Stages 3 & 4 | Permanent Opportunity

A vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school in Bournemouth is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position suited to a passionate educator who wants to inspire the next generation to explore and understand the complexities of the world around them.

The successful candidate will be joining a supportive and ambitious Humanities department with a clear vision for excellence in teaching and learning. The school values creativity in the classroom, academic curiosity, and the ability to bring geography to life through engaging, real-world examples.

This role offers the chance to teach KS3 and KS4 Geography, with the potential for KS5 depending on experience and interest. The ideal candidate will have a strong subject knowledge, a genuine enthusiasm for geography, and a commitment to developing students' critical thinking, geographical literacy, and global awareness.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Geography at secondary level (KS3 and KS4 essential)

  • Strong classroom management skills and a student-centred approach

  • ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
