We have an exciting permanent vacancy for a Qualfied Geography Teacher to join one of our partner Secondary Schools in Bedford!

• Location: Bedford
• Start date: June or September 2025
• Contract: Full-time, Temp to Perm or Permanent contract on offer
• Pay: M1 - M6, UPS 1 -3, Contract would pay weekly on a daily rate equivalent £150 - 230+ for Qualified Teachers)

Are you a knowledgable, ambitious, and passionate Teacher of Geography? This is a rare opportunity for a Geography Teacher seeking a new challenge ideally into a permanent position as the department looks to grow as the school develops.

As a Geography Teacher, your timetable will be predominantly teaching GCSE Geography classes to students electing this subject as part of their options. You will have full teaching responsibilities and inspire students to achieve excellence to the AQA specification for GCSE.

• Passion for Geography
• PGCE Qualification specialising in Geographical field or related-subject 
• Excellent knowledge of GCSE Geography syllabus as a minimum
• Excellent understanding of teaching Secondary age pupils 
• A 'can do' and positive attitude to inspire pupils
• An ability to motivate and inspire, whilst using your own initiative 
• Willingness to learn and support others
• Patient and friendly attitude 
• High levels of resilience and emotional intelligence.
