General Teacher

An excellent Alternative Provision in Bexhill is looking for a general teacher to cover core subjects with their secondary pupils. This school is a unique educational setting, providing alternative education to children who have not managed to flourish in a mainstream school.

As well as core subjects of English, Maths and Science; the school offer the following courses and qualifications with excellent facilities:

• Hair and Beauty
• Sports
• Cooking
• Art and Design
• Woodwork

The school believe in giving every child a chance of a successful career and future; regardless of their ability to work in a mainstream school under the usual educational structure.

Details:

• Immediate start, Mon-Fri
• Term time only
• Pay negotiated depending on qualifications and experience
• QTS not essential, unqualified teachers/tutors are welcome to apply
• Class sizes are generally 12-20
• Secondary age groups
• Planning can be provided by the school, or you can prepare your own lessons. The school re flexible
