A school based in Brixton are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher specialising in Science to join their team with the view to start in Septmber 2017 on a full-time basis. The school is confident that their strong moral and spiritual framework and commitment to educate their pupils to the highest standards will ensure that all pupils will develop and progress during their years at school.
The head of Science is a dynamic and inspirational leader, who has seen success after success with the GCSE results year on year. This year they achieved 80% A*- C grades and many pupils secured their place to study Science at AS/A level. The department was mentioned specifically in the latest 2014 Ofsted inspection where their impressive improvements in GCSE grades was highlighted. You will be teaching KS3 through to KS4/GCSE and you must have sound knowledge of the curriculum.
