Teacher of Science (General) – Cardiff  

A medium sized mixed comprehensive Secondary school in the Cardiff area are currently seeking to appoint a teacher of Science to join their faculty due to someone leaving the department over the summer holidays.

The school aim to appoint ASAP due to the nature in which the vacancy has arisen.  

The appointed Science teacher will deliver lessons across all Sciences: Chemistry, Biology and Physics to students in Key Stage 3 however the school have specified that where possible they will accommodate your timetable to your specialism.

-              Full time Science position, commencing ASAP

-              Supportive Department and SLT that promote from within and encourage extra curricular

-              Estyn graded ‘Good’ Secondary school

-              Full Timetable Mon-Fri

-              Strong classroom management skills are essential

The successful Science Teacher will be able to demonstrate strong teaching skills as well as being able to motivate and challenge students. The willingness to use alternative teaching methods while unlocking student potential can be advantageous as this school prioritises the development of both teachers and learners.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
