Are you a teacher looking for a flexible role to suit your availability?

Teaching Personnel are working alongside a number of Secondary Schools in Bury aiding them in recruiting General Cover Teachers for after the October half term break 2019.

A General Cover Teacher position is the ideal role for applicants looking for a flexible role that also provides them with the opportunity to gain skills and experience in a Secondary School. Teachers interested in this role will ideally have previous experience working within Secondary education or have experience in a similar role with transferrable skills.

  • Flexible day to day work available for teachers wanted flexible work alongside other roles.
  • Opportunity to work in a variety of different schools across Bury.
  • Supporting the learning of pupils across all subject areas.
  • Supporting students across the curriculum and ability range.
  • Delivering pre-set work and leading classes in the absence of teachers.
  • Earn between ÂŁ100-ÂŁ120 per day depending on experience.
  • Must have transferable experience to work within secondary education.

Within this role the successful applicants will hold a number of responsibilities including;

  • Covering pre-planned lessons in the absence of teachers.
  • Managing behaviour and ensuring tasks are completed by pupils.
  • Working alongside senior teachers to improve attainment across a range of abilities.
  • Covering a range of classes in different subject areas with a range of pupils varying in ages (11-16) and ability.

Our client schools are located in Bury with access from surrounding areas such as Bolton, Salford and central Manchester via the M66 and A58. For non-drivers, the schools can be accessed by a number of public transport links from surrounding areas of Greater Manchester.
