Future Teachers Programme

Are you a graduate considering a teaching career in secondary schools?

Would you benefit from working as a graduate teaching assistant and gaining practical classroom based experience ahead of an integrated teacher training course?

If so, Teaching Personnel are currently working with a teacher training schools located in Warrington and greater Manchester, sourcing graduates to work as graduate teaching assistants prior to beginning their teacher training programme. This will offer you the chance to gain valuable teaching experience in a range of different schools, whilst being trained to become a teacher.

  • Future Teachers Programme
  • Graduates in Maths, English or Science looking to kick start their teaching career
  • Working in a teaching school, where you will be training on the job
  • Paid on a weekly basis (£1250 - £1300 a month)
  • Working in secondary schools in Warrington and the greater Manchester area

The successful candidate for the Future teachers programme will be working in our client's school in Warrington and the greater Manchester area, teaching students in KS3-KS4 aged 11-16, experiencing a range of different teaching roles, subjects and students with different academic abilities. There will also be an opportunity to work in other schools within the area, to expand your teaching experience.

The Future Teachers Programme is primarily run in our client's secondary school in Warrington, which has recently been graded a 'Good' school, in its most recent Ofsted report. Their students achieve beyond academic measures, in their most recent exams, making this an excellent school for you to start your teaching career at.

The secondary school where you will be undertaking the Future Teachers Programme is located in Warrington, just off the A57, with public transport links close by, making it easy to access in the morning.
