Graduate Cover Supervisor / Future Teacher Programme – Kickstart Your Teaching Journey in 2025
Are you in your final year of university and unsure about your next steps? Considering a career in teaching but not quite ready to commit to a PGCE? Our Future Teachers Programme offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience before making a formal decision about teacher training.
Starting in September or October 2025, this role allows you to step into a secondary school environment, develop essential teaching skills, and explore whether teaching is the right career path for you. As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Support students through one-to-one mentoring and classroom assistance.
- Gain experience in lesson planning, teaching, and marking.
- Work with different age groups across a variety of subjects.

What We’re Looking For
✔ A degree in any subject – no prior teaching experience required.
✔ Experience working with children (desirable but not essential).
✔ A friendly, engaging, and supportive approach to working with students.
✔ Willingness to undergo a child-only DBS check.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
