Would you like to gain experience working as a Cover Supervisor within a secondary school setting, covering lessons, or supporting students in a Teaching Assistant capacity?

Are you a graduate wishing to gain invaluable experience prior to embarking upon a teacher training course?

If so, please see further details of an opportunity to work as a cover supervisor within a number of secondary schools located in Bolton;

  • Full-time and flexible part-time Cover Supervisor positions
  • Supporting the learning of pupils across all subject areas
  • Delivering pre-set work and leading classing in the absence of teachers
  • Attractive rates of pay (Up to £300 per week) and invaluable experience towards your UCAS applications
  • Applicant requirements: Educated to degree level and previous/transferable experience working within secondary education

These Cover Supervisor opportunities are the ideal opportunity to gain the necessary skills and experience for those considering applying to teacher training courses (PGCE, Schools Direct and Teach First) to further your experience working within secondary schools. Applicants will ideally have previous experience working within education and will have their own transport to travel to school at short notice (Desirable not essential).

Within this role the successful applicants will hold a number of responsibilities including;

  • Covering pre-set lessons in the absence of teachers - Pre-set work provided
  • Manage behaviour and ensure tasks are completed
  • Covering a range of classes in different subject areas with a range of pupils varying in ages (11-16) and ability.

Our client schools are located across Bolton in areas such as Westhoughton, Horwich, Farnworth and the outskirts of Bolton town centre.
