Our small School in Fareham is recruiting for a Teacher who can provide English and Maths Functional Skills for our Secondary aged students. Our pupils are not attending mainstream school due to exclusions however we have managed to go for 1 year with only 1 restraint, so we are very proud of our behaviour management skills. 

This role could be a part or full time position and it will be permanent. 

We are looking for:

• A functional skills specialist or a Primary or Secondary teacher with skills and experience with Functional Skills
• Someone who is dynamic and can think on their feet and be creative with the curriculum to make it engaging for pupils
• A qualified Teacher with formal qualifications in teaching

The responsibilities of this role are to work alongside our head of Functional Skills to provide a tailored education in English and Maths to our pupils that helps them achieve the qualifications tthey require to complete their vocational studies in areas such as mechanics.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
