Functional Skills Tutor – Macclesfield (SK11)
A rewarding opportunity has become available for an experienced Functional Skills Tutor to support learners in the Macclesfield (SK11) area.
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable tutor who can deliver high-quality Functional Skills English and/or Maths sessions, helping learners achieve their educational goals and build confidence in their abilities.
About the Role:
- Deliver Functional Skills tuition in English and Maths
- Support learners with varying abilities and learning needs
- Prepare students for assessments and examinations
- Develop personalised learning plans and engaging resources
- Encourage learner progression and independence
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience delivering Functional Skills tutoring or teaching
- Strong knowledge of English and/or Maths curriculum
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to engage and motivate learners
- QTS, PGCE, or relevant tutoring qualification desirable
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
