Job description

Tutor – SK10 Macclesfield | Flexible In-Person Role

Teaching Personnel are looking for a dedicated Tutor to support students in the SK10 Macclesfield area through 1:1 in-person tuition.

This is a flexible role working with learners who may require additional support in core subjects, helping them build confidence and improve academic progress.

Role Overview:

  • 1:1 tuition in Maths, English, and/or Science
  • In-person sessions (home, school, or community settings)
  • Flexible daytime hours (school hours)
  • Support learners with SEN/SEMH or those outside mainstream education

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience tutoring or working with young people
  • Strong subject knowledge
  • Patient and supportive approach
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
