SEN Tutor – Chester (CH2)
Location: Chester (CH2) and surrounding areas
Hours: School hours, Monday–Friday
Flexible / Part-Time / Term-Time

Do you have a passion for supporting young people with additional needs? We are currently looking for caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic SEN Tutors to provide personalised 1:1 support to pupils across the CH2 Chester area.
This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people who may require additional educational support due to SEN/SEND needs, anxiety, SEMH, Autism, ADHD, school avoidance, or gaps in learning.
✨ Your Role:
• Deliver engaging and tailored 1:1 tuition sessions
• Adapt learning approaches to suit each pupil’s individual needs
• Support pupils academically, emotionally, and socially
• Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and schools
• Help students build confidence, independence, and engagement in learning
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate session records
• Create a safe, supportive, and encouraging learning environment
✅ What We’re Looking For:
• Minimum 1 year teaching, tutoring, or SEN support experience within the UK
• Experience working with children or young people with additional needs
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• Patient, reliable, and adaptable approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Driving licence and access to transport preferred
⭐ Desirable Experience:
• SEN/SEND experience
• Experience supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or anxiety
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Teaching Assistant, or tutoring background
• Experience delivering English, Maths, or Functional Skills support

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
