About the Role:
Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the Monmouth area. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a reception class on a long-term basis, starting in January and continuing until the end of the academic year.

You’ll play a key role in delivering engaging, creative lessons that inspire young learners and support their early development. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to make a meaningful impact during a vital stage in children’s education.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons for Reception pupils.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and parents to promote pupil progress.
  • Support pupils’ social and emotional development through nurturing and consistent guidance.
  • Maintain strong classroom management and uphold school values.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching in Early Years or KS1 (Reception experience preferred).
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
  • A valid DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
