Job Opportunity: SEN Teacher (Full-Time)
Location: Luton
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Teacher to join our team in supporting children with autism, including both verbal and non-verbal learners.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor children’s learning and developmental progress
- Implement behaviour support plans to prevent and manage behavioural triggers
- Establish and maintain classroom routines and expectations
- Liaise with and effectively deploy support staff to ensure smooth classroom operation
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with or a strong interest in supporting children with autism (verbal and non-verbal)
- A patient, kind, and caring approach
- Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team
- Ability to adapt and differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners
- Availability to work full-time

- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (can be arranged through Teaching Personnel)
- Two most recent professional references (from the last 24 months)
- Overseas Police Check (if applicable — required for those who have lived outside the UK for 6+ months in the last 5 years)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
