Fully Qualified Science Teacher (PRU)

We are currently seeking a full-time Science Teacher to work in a alternative Provision (PRU) for key stage 4 students based in Leicestershire. This role is to start after February half term and would be a minimum of 2 terms, possibly permanent.

The School

The school is a unique educational provision, providing a safe and supportive environment for young people aged between 14 and 16 years old who experience behavioural difficulties in mainstream education. Their goal is to provide outstanding alternative education with individualised learning pathways that radically improve the achievement and life chances of our students. The alternative provision offers a personalised curriculum which is made up of a range of core academic subjects and vocational programmes, and provides a small and supportive environment where pupils are taught in classes with no more than 10 pupils.

The Job

• Teaching GCSE Science
• Teaching core science, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
