Teaching Assistant required on full time basis to support pupils with additional needs in Bradford special school.
Our partner school is situated in the Manningham area of Bradford and provides a sensory curriculum; specially tailored to meet the needs of pupils with complex Special Educational Needs aged 3-19. The school is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their team in September 2019.
The successfully appointed SEN Teaching Assistant will have previous experience of interacting and working with young people with a variety of special educational needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and general vulnerability.
The school are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs, with the ability to motivate pupils to engage with learning activities, promote independence and who can work collaboratively with colleagues to implement a bespoke programme of learning. In addition to supporting access to learning, you will also be required to provide pastoral support for pupils, and provide personal care where necessary.

Our client school is located in Manningham, close to the city centre and easily accessible by car and public transport from the surrounding areas.
