French Teacher

Job role: French Teacher 

Location: Redditch (B97)

Start Date: 2nd June 2025.

Pay Rate: Paid to scale !!

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a French Teacher to work at a Secondary School within the Redditch area of Worcestershire. The ideal candidate will hold a UK QTS and be happy with additional responsibilities where needed (planning and marking).

Core Teaching Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that lines up with the UK French curriculm.

• Teach across Key Stages (KS3–KS5) in line with the national curriculum and examination specifications.

• Assess pupils' progress through formative and summative assessments, providing feedback to support development.

• Prepare students for exams, such as GCSEs and A-Levels, ensuring curriculum coverage and exam readiness.

Daily Duties – French Teacher 

• Plan lessons aligned to curriculum and student needs

• Teach engaging language classes

• Mark work and give clear, constructive feedback

• Track progress and update records

• Manage classroom behaviour calmly and consistently

• Differentiate tasks to support all learners

• Communicate with parents and staff as needed

• Attend meetings and training sessions

• Support extra-curriculars like language clubs or trips

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
