Our client secondary school requires a French teacher who can teach up to KS4 starting after the Easter break. The school is located on the east side of Manchester, in the Gorton area and specifically requires a motivated teacher of French to start on 16th April. The MFL department within this school has a French faculty given all students studying the subject from year 7, which a lot of students choosing it at GCSE level.

The successful teacher may also have a second language up to KS3, whether it be German, Spanish or any other language which could be of benefit.

The school have stated that they are encouraging applications from newly qualified teachers as well as those further along the pay scale. The pay would be dependent upon scale and experience but would range between £100 - £160 per day for this French teaching role.

  • Supportive secondary school and large part of the French department

The school is located in the Gorton area of Manchester and is very easily accessible via the A57 and A6. The school boasts excellent facilities and has the latest state-of-the-art equipment at the disposal of all departments.

The Head of French has said that they are looking for:

"An excellent classroom practitioner that has a real love for the French culture and can impart this love to the students. French is a subject which is enjoyed by all students at our school and we want this love to continue through to KS4. Of course there is a focus on reading, writing and listening but we want our students to really care for the French culture"
