Job Advert: Secondary French Teacher

Location: Blackpool
Contract: Full-time
Start date: As soon as possible
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)

We are looking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic French Teacher to join our secondary school in Blackpool. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire a love of languages and support students in developing their communication skills and cultural awareness.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Have excellent subject knowledge in French (KS3 and KS4).
  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that motivate and challenge pupils.
  • Be committed to raising achievement and ensuring all learners reach their potential.
  • Contribute positively to the life of the school and the Modern Foreign Languages department.

This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with a passion for language teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
