Are you a teacher who specialises in Early Years/Reception? If so, then you could be just the person a 2 form entry Primary school in Leeds (LS9) who are looking for a full-time Teacher from January 2022

The current Reception Teacher at this primary school in LS9 was due to go on maternity leave in Febuary, but due to the recent increase in covid cases has decided to take leave early. 

The school are looking for someone who specialises in Early Years as it presents a unique set of challenges, and the school prides itself on its strong Phonics teaching (Read Write Inc) and Early Learning development goals, getting children ready for Year 1. The ideal candidate for this role will be familiar and experienced in Phonics teaching as well as guided play teaching techniques and a good understanding of the Early Years framework. An engaging classroom presence is vitally important to the SLT as that is the tone they try and set throughout the school.

The school was rated as GOOD at their last inspection in 2017 and the head has endeavoured to maintain the high standards set over the course of the last 2 years. Therefore a teacher who is experienced working in Good/Outstanding schools, with a track record of good progress in their classes is what the school are looking for. However, the Head is not averse to an NQT should their specialism be in Early Years, and their teaching style is strong above all else.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
