Salary: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS)

Are you a passionate and skilled Food Technology Teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are working in partnership with a vibrant secondary school located on the East side of Birmingham, who are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher to join their team from September 2025. An earlier start date is possible for the right candidate.
This is a full-time role teaching across KS3 and KS4, with the school offering excellent facilities, a supportive department, and a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning. You will be joining a forward-thinking team that values creativity, innovation, and student engagement in the subject.
The ideal candidate will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – this is essential.

Have recent and relevant experience teaching Food Technology to secondary students.

Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire learners.

Be committed to raising achievement and delivering high standards in practical and theory lessons.

Be a team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
