This school in Solihull is looking for a motivated Food technology teacher ready to encourage students to learn. From September 2023 this academy will be taking on a successful candidate to play an important role in education.
Position: Food technology teacher
Location: Solihull
Start Date: September 2023
Contract: Full-time
Salary: £140 - £220 daily
The right candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Food technology
- Demonstrated ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities and learning styles.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment that promotes equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- A willingness to actively participate in the wider school community.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Food technology lessons to students (Key Stage 3 and 4)
- Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to promote student engagement and achievement
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing effective strategies for improvement
- Establish strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a positive and collaborative learning community

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
