Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £27,784 – £30,218 (Actual salary, includes SEN allowance)

About the Role:
A specialist school in North Yorkshire is seeking a dedicated and imaginative Food Technology Instructor to join their team. Working with students across Key Stages 2 to 4, you’ll support pupils with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs and associated challenges including autism, ADHD, anxiety, and learning difficulties.

In this rewarding role, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and practical food technology lessons that build essential life skills.

  • Work towards the individual outcomes of pupils' EHCPs.

  • Support pupils’ academic and personal development through a trauma-informed and therapeutic approach.

  • Collaborate with a strong multidisciplinary team and be part of a nurturing, student-centred environment.
