Temporary to Permanent Opportunity
Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation through the joy of food and nutrition? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Food Technology to join a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school from January 2026.
This is an exciting temp-to-perm role, offering the opportunity for a committed teacher to become a valued permanent member of staff.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and innovative Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Support students in developing practical cooking skills alongside theoretical understanding
- Plan and assess effectively to ensure all learners progress and achieve
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and its community
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with a specialism in Food Technology or related subject
- Strong classroom management and a passion for creating an inclusive, inspiring learning environment
- A team player who is eager to contribute positively to the school’s ethos and curriculum

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
