Food Technology Teacher (Full-Time)

Secondary School in Barnoldswick

Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, temporary until Summer 2026
Potential: Temporary to permanent for the right candidate

Our client school in Barnoldswick is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join their dedicated Design & Technology team. This is a full-time role starting as soon as possible, initially until the summer term, with the possibility of becoming a permanent position.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan, prepare and assess students’ work in line with the curriculum
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold QTS (or be working towards it)
  • Have experience teaching Food Technology in a secondary school setting
  • Be passionate about practical learning and student progress
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Be reliable, flexible, and committed to high standards of teaching
