Secondary Maths Teachers Needed – Bristol
Start Date: Immediate / ASAP

We’re partnering with several secondary schools across Bristol that are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Maths teachers. If you’re interested in flexible supply work, a long-term placement, or guidance in securing the right permanent role, we can help match you with opportunities that suit your goals.

This opportunity is ideal for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) wanting to gain valuable classroom experience, as well as experienced teachers looking to explore new schools or find the right long-term fit.

Key Responsibilities (Long-Term / Permanent Roles)

  • Deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Support students in developing confidence and problem-solving skills in mathematics

  • Adapt teaching strategies to support students with varying abilities, including SEND

  • Monitor and assess student progress

  • Contribute to a positive and supportive school environment


We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards QTS

  • Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum

  • Good classroom management and communication skills

  • A passion for helping students succeed in mathematics

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
