Are you based in the East Sussex and looking for a new and exciting role within a Special Educational Needs school?

We have multiple opportunities here at Teaching Personnel in the East Sussex area. We are looking for an exciting and enthusiastic teacher to work with children and young people who have Special Educational Needs (Autism, SLD, MLD, PMLD, and Complex Needs).

The ideal candidate will be able to provide rousing and engaging lessons to students of different abilities in small classes to ensure each pupil gets the best support possible. You must be calm, patient and playful in order to build the best rapport with your students and your lessons should reflect this positive and creative nature.

  • You will be employed by Teaching Personnel, teaching in schools around the Greater Brighton area.
  • We welcome teachers from all backgrounds with different specialisms, be it core subjects or creative ones
  • You will teach children with Special Educational Needs, which could be autism, physical disabilities, moderate to severe learning difficulties or communication and interaction difficulties
  • You will make lessons and activities accessible and all inclusive
  • You will work alongside a welcoming team including support staff and medical staff to ensure the best for your students
  • In a day to day role you may need a driving license and your own vehicle to travel to different locations
