Role: Flexible Cover Teacher

Location: Wavertree, L15

Hours: Full time

Contract: Temporary

Start Date: November 2025

Pay Rate: £125 - £232.56 per hour, depending on experience

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Cover Teacher to join our network of schools in the Wavertree area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an educator who thrives on variety and enjoys working in different classroom environments. As a flexible cover teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning by stepping into lessons across a range of subjects and year groups.

This role is perfect for teachers who value flexibility, want to broaden their experience, and enjoy making a positive impact wherever they go.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects and key stages.
  • Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
  • Follow school policies and ensure safeguarding standards are upheld.
  • Adapt quickly to different classroom settings and student needs.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work across multiple schools in Wavertree.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
