Female PE teacher required to commence a 12 month maternity cover at an Outstanding Secondary School in Macclesfield. Due to start after the Easter holidays this is a full time female PE teaching post through to April 2020 dependant on the returning colleague.

Highly respected in the area for academic performance and pupil behaviour you will be working within a vibrant PE department that offers continuous support and CPD opportunities. You will need to have additional sporting qualifications in addition to a PGCE or teacher training qualification.

Large in size with over 1500 students the school has an above average Progress 8 score of +0.35, low levels of students eligible for free school emails at 15% and extremely low levels of those who use English as an additional language.

Located in the SK11 post code of Macclesfield the school is half a mile away from Macclesfield train station and has direct bus routes for those on public transport.

**Good pupil behaviour and academic performance

**Highly respected PE department

Female PE teachers will need to have QTS in the UK, suitable experience delivering various sporting subjects within the PE curriculum, school based references and an application for a fully enhanced DBS on the update service.
