Are you a female passionate about teaching PE and available to work full time?

We are currently recruiting for a fantastic Secondary school based in Hounslow for children aged 11-18 and are looking for a female PE Teacher who is passionate about striving for the best, always motivating students to believe in themselves and aim for them to achieve their maximum potential.

Full time

Location: Hounslow

Pay: £140-£180

Start date: September 2023

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating the performance of students throughout the school year
  • Supervising practical PE lessons, including both indoor and outdoor classes
  • Ensuring that students pass their practical and theoretical PE exams
  • Ensuring that children compete to their ability level and aren’t exposed to unnecessary injury or illness through school sports
  • Motivating school children to take up new sports or athletic pursuits

The ideal candidate:

  • Will motivate and encourage students to get involved in the lessons
  • Will be passionate about teaching PE to encourage students to be excited about the subject
  • Will have a genuine desire to support pupils in their improvement and development in the subject
  • Will have knowledge of physical exercises, stretching, nutrition and sports recovery
  • Will have basic knowledge of first aid and recognised first-aid certificate

Qualifications required:

  • QTS
  • PGCE
  • Previous in school experience
  • Will have up-to-date knowledge of the UK PE curriculum

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
