Role: EYFS Teaching Assistant
Schedule: Full Time
Start: October 2025
Location: Runcorn (WA7)
Pay Rate: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)

We are looking for a passionate and nurturing EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a warm and inclusive Early Years team in Runcorn from October 2025. In this role, you will support children aged 3–5 within nursery and reception settings, delivering engaging phonics, literacy, numeracy, and speech & language development sessions.

Your responsibilities will include observing and tracking pupil progress, helping to create a stimulating and welcoming learning environment, and providing tailored support for children with additional needs, including 1:1 and small group work. This is a rewarding role for someone who loves working with young children and is committed to helping them grow both educationally and emotionally.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Assist in planning and delivering fun, creative, and engaging activities and lessons for EYFS children
  • Have a strong understanding of child development in both educational and emotional contexts
  • Possess previous experience working with the EYFS age group
  • Be dedicated to fostering a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable learning environment
