Experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant with Phonics experience.

Comfortable with the EYFS framework and planning next steps

Familiar with being a key worker for groups of up to 8 children

A Primary school in North Manchester has come to Teaching Personnel looking to employ an experienced early years teaching assistant. The school is two form entry and has recently been graded 'Good' by OFSTED and consists of a combined Nursery and Reception. The unit has set rooms where Key worker groups will be situated and the Teaching Assistant will be expected to deliver Numeracy, Literacy and Read Write Inc Phonics to groups of around 8. All the work will have been planned by the Teacher.

The staffing team at the school is a mixture of experience and newly appointed staff and has a great mix of all ages which gives the school a really strong staffing team for someone to join. Ideally the candidate of choice will be experience but also be able to slot in to the staffing team and bring enthusiasm as well as a clear passion for working in education.

The school is really easily accessible from both Manchester City centre and Oldham and has great transport links should the chosen candidate not be driving. Interviews will be held as soon as possible with a view to the candidate starting in the next couple of weeks until the end of the academic year and potentially beyond.
