Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school based in Congleton who are looking for an EYFS Teaching Assistant. The school have both full-time and part-time opportunities available and are looking for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the early development of young students.

About the role:

  • Start-date: 3rd September
  • Ongoing/long-term with potential opportunity for permanent contract with the school
  • Part-time and full-time opportunities available

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teachers to create a welcoming and inclusive learning environment for all students, allowing them the best start to their learning journey. You will collaborate with other members of staff to create interactive and sensory activities which are accessible to all pupils and follow the EYFS curriculum.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with young children ages 3-5 (nursery experience included)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both students and staff
  • A patient and empathetic approach when working with the students
  • Safeguarding training to be completed upon registering with Teaching Personnel

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
