The Role
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative Early Years learning activities.
- Encourage children's social, emotional, and academic development through play-based learning.
- Work with individuals and small groups to support early literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
- Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
- Observe and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback to teaching staff.
- Support children with additional needs where required, promoting positive outcomes for all learners.
We have opportunities available for day-to-day supply, short-term assignments, long-term placements, and permanent positions.
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will:
- Hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or Supporting Teaching and Learning.
- Have previous experience working within an EYFS setting or primary school.
- Be patient, caring, and passionate about supporting young children's development.
- Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Be adaptable, reliable, and committed to providing high-quality support.
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
