EYFS Teaching Assistant Job Opportunity – Chorley

A vibrant and supportive primary school in Chorley is looking to recruit an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their early years team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced early years professional seeking long-term work.

Main Responsibilities

Support the delivery of EYFS learning through play and structured activities
Work with small groups and individual pupils
Assist with phonics, early maths, and creative play
Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development
Help prepare classroom resources and activities

Requirements

Experience working within an early years setting is essential
Level 3 qualification highly desirable
Strong communication and organisational skills
Passion for supporting young children’s development
