Early Years Practitioner:
An Outstanding school in Lytham has requested the support of Teaching Personnel to recruit two Early Years Practitioners for their Nursery Class. This is a great opportunity to join an amazing team focussed on extending children’s learning opportunities and supporting children’s individual needs. This role is to start ASAP and could lead to a permanent role for the right candidate.
The two opportunities are in different year groups. Please see below:
Role 1: Pre School Room Practitioner:
- This role is to work within the Pre School room with children from ages 3 years old to 5 years old. Within this role, the right candidate will be comfortable setting up continuous provision to develop the children’s learning and base activities around the child’s interests. It is important that the right candidate has a good understanding of the EYFS to enable them to continually develop activities to fit the child’s needs. Also, an understanding of the ‘3 I’s’ is important to ensure that the children have the best opportunities to develop their knowledge and that the practitioners understand the activities and what they offer each child.
Role 2: Baby Room Practitioner:
- This role is to support as a practitioner within the Baby Room supporting children from 3 months to 2 years old. Within this role, the right practitioner must have a strong understanding of supporting children of this age, the weaning process, the bottle feeding process, and first aid knowledge. These can be taught within the setting for the right candidate. It is important for this role that the practitioner is nurturing, friendly and approachable. Also an understanding of the importance to make parents feel comfortable and happy when handing over the children for the session each morning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
