As a village school, they offer a friendly, close-knit environment where children are known and valued as individuals. Smaller class sizes allow staff to build strong relationships with pupils and provide the care, support and challenge each child needs to thrive.

As a smaller school, they are fortunate to have a small but highly dedicated team who work closely together, support one another and share a genuine commitment to giving every child the very best start. Collaboration, kindness and teamwork are at the heart of all they do.

  • Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider school team to ensure consistency and high standards.
  • Contribute positively to the friendly and supportive ethos of the school.
  • Encourage curiosity, independence and a genuine love of learning from an early age.

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for a teacher who is:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experienced within EYFS, Early Years or Key Stage 1.
  • Passionate about providing children with the best possible start to their education.
  • Creative, enthusiastic and able to deliver engaging learning opportunities.
  • Nurturing, patient and committed to supporting every child as an individual.
  • Confident in planning, assessment and managing the EYFS curriculum.
  • A strong communicator who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.
  • Reliable, adaptable and able to build positive relationships quickly.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

  • A welcoming and nurturing village school environment.
  • Small class sizes and excellent opportunities to get to know pupils individually.
  • A supportive, close-knit and dedicated staff team.
  • Enthusiastic pupils who are eager to learn.
  • A school that values collaboration, kindness and teamwork.
  • The opportunity to make a genuine difference to children at the very start of their educational journey.
  • Long-term opportunity starting from October half term, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.
