EYFS Teacher - Swadlincote - Full Time

Teaching personnel are seeking am EYFS Teacher to work for one of our partnership schools based in Swadlincote. As an early years teacher, you'll be concerned with helping children to achieve early learning goals. You'll need to observe, assess and record each child's progress. You will also ensure the health and safety of children and staff is maintained during all activities, both inside and outside the nursery or school. This is a full time role starting from the September 2019 up until the end of that academic year.

Main Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for standards of learning, teaching curriculum provision and pastoral care in a Foundation Stage class.
  • Develop and implement appropriate policies and practice in line with the Schools ethos.
  • Through reflective practice, provide a dynamic curriculum which values play, exploration and inclusion.

To be considered for the role you must have a Qualified Teacher Status or degree in relevant subject or Post graduate experience relevant to the post. The ability to plan and deliver stimulating teaching experiences in line with Early Years Foundation Stage Framework including phonics. A sound understanding of Early Years child development. You must also have the right to work in the UK and a valid enhanced DBS.
