Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school based in Stoke-on-Trent who are looking for an EYFS Teacher to start in January.

This is a great opportunity for an ECT looking to start their career within a mainstream primary school.

About the role:

  • Start-date: 5th January
  • Ongoing until the end of the academic year

As an EYFS Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons which follow the EYFS curriculum. You will create a positive and supportive learning environment as students transition into school life and prepare for KS1. Additionally, you will work closely with support staff to identify any students who require additional learning support, providing individualised plans.

What we’re looking for:

  • QTS in Primary or Early Years Education
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and current teaching techniques
  • Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment
  • A calm and patient approach to behaviour management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with staff and parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
